Founded to create a safe space for girls to shine, grow and expand into their incredible potential.

GROW Leadership Program was founded in 2014 when two women saw the immediate need to address the suffering and struggle their pre-teen and teenage female students face on a daily basis with low self esteem, body shaming, bullying, over-sexualization and anxiety/depression.

7 in 10 girls believe they are not good enough or do not measure up in some way, including their looks, performance in school and relationships with family and friends.

If these statistics make you angry, you're not alone. There are very effective tools and strategies to increase self esteem, cultivate a healthy body image, positive self relationship and ease anxiety and depression.

GROW offers a 3 day non-residential program or a 7 day residential, intensive leadership and empowerment camp, ideal for school breaks and summer, both for girls ages 13-16 and 17-20. Girls Ready to Own the World creates a safe and supportive environment where diverse young women come together to explore the power of self-discovery, healing and success using proven effective breathing techniques, yoga and meditation along with powerful group experiential processes.

These uniquely powerful meditation and breathing techniques, promote healing and allow for a deeper connection with themselves and the world around them.

Mindfulness meditation, the practice of paying more attention to the present moment, helps lower stress hormones and decreases inflammation in the body. Meditation and breathing techniques have also been linked to decrease anxiety and depression and increase self esteem.

The tools our girls learn on GROW bring an awareness to their lives, allowing them to manage stress in a healthy way, bringing confidence and self-reliance. This enables the young women to step into an empowered role in their own lives and in their communities.
