GROW PROGRAM MODELS

 

Our dynamic curriculum focuses on holistically nourishing every girl and exploring boundaries outside of each girl's comfort zone to promote growth and increased confidence. In addition to providing participants with powerful breathing techniques, meditation and curriculum that enhances self-esteem, growth mindset and social connectivity, we bring awareness and open discussion for young women to explore issues they are currently facing in their own lives around body image, as well as social and societal pressures.

CAREFULLY DESIGNED FOR YOUR SUCCESS

GROW Leadership Program offers a safe space where diverse young women (ages 13-16 or 17-20) come together, virtually or in-person, to explore the power of self-discovery and support one another in developing the courage and tools to become resilient when faced with adversity and life’s challenges. 

 

We provide them with uniquely powerful meditation and breathing techniques, as well as tools to explore a deeper connection with themselves and the world around them. 

 

 

These techniques bring an awareness to their lives, allowing them to manage stress in a healthy way, bringing confidence and self reliance. This enables the young women to step into an empowered role in their own lives and in their communities.

 

GROW Offers 3 Program Options:

 

Our 6 Day Residential Program Includes:

  • Individual Mentorship during and after the program 
  • Exploration in Self-Actualizing Activities, Art, Nature, Music and Health/Wellness
  • Daily Yoga, Meditation and Instruction in Stress-Management
  • Managing Academic Stress, Goal Setting, Leadership Skills
  • Daily Healthy and Delicious Meals 
  • Excursions in Local Destinations and Surrounding Nature
  • Follow-ups with Instructors 

Our 3 Day Non-residential Program Includes:

  • Individual Mentorship during and after the program
  • Exploration in Self-Actualizing Activities, Experiential Processes, and Healthy Body Image through Art  
  • Health/Wellness through Food and Mind/Body Education 
  • Building Awareness of Healthy Relationships/Boundaries and Bullying
  • Managing Academic Stress, Goal Setting, Leadership Skills
  • Daily Yoga, Meditation and Instruction in Stress-Management
  • 1 Month of Online GROW Curriculum and Follow-ups with Instructors

Our 8 Week ONLINE Program Includes:

  • Individual Mentorship during the program 
  • Developing and Implementing Healthy Coping Strategies with Meditation and Breathing Tools
  • Identifying and Breaking Through Limiting Belief Systems 
  • Exploration in Self-Actualizing Activities and Creating Positive Habits
  • Health/Wellness through Food and Mind/Body Education 
  • Managing Academic Stress, Goal Setting, Leadership Skills
  • Weekly GROW Group Calls and Buddy System Support for Support and Accountability

SELF-ACTUALIZING ACTIVITIES

Our curriculum focuses on holistically nourishing the child and exploring boundaries outside of their comfort zone. In addition to providing participants with the YES! (Youth Empowerment Seminar) powerful breathing techniques, meditation and curriculum that uplifts human values and focuses on a healthy body, mind and lifestyle, we bring awareness and open discussion for young women to explore issues they are currently facing in their own lives around body image, as well as social and societal pressures.

ART

We explore self-expression through artistic mediums; painting and pottery making. We bring attention to the present moment and tap into a creative part of ourselves that allows for healing and a deep learning.

NATURE

We go on hikes, connecting with nature and taking in all it has to offer. We also have evening campfires and share stories about life lessons over s’mores; building camaraderie and sisterhood through deep personal and authentic connection.

MUSIC

Participants compose lyrics to a song that portray the vision they have for themselves and the world. They have an opportunity to perform this song at the end of the program for a live audience. (Location dependent)

HEALTH/WELLNESS

A portion of the curriculum is dedicated to body awareness and healthy body/mind relationships; exploring healthy eating and how to take responsibility for our own health by preparing organic homemade food. Depending on location, we take a trip to a local garden and explore sustainability, growing our own food and how to cook healthily by harvesting our own vegetables. 

Participants will leave with their own meditation practice that they can do at home, in addition to several breathing techniques that can be utilized to relieve stress, increase energy and bring balance throughout the day.
